About the College: The College of Medicine was the first college established at Jabir ibn Hayyan University for Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences at the beginning of the 2013-2014 academic year. The first cohort included 86 male and female students. The academic system at our college has been a discipline-based system since its inception, comprising the first, second, and third basic stages, and the fourth, fifth, and sixth clinical stages. Our college adopts a central admission system based on capacity and future planning, which is discussed annually by the College Council. This college was chosen for its prime location, offering a suitable educational environment and easy access on the eastern bank of the Euphrates River, near the Kufa Corniche.
